Not sure on size? But I wouldn't. The 500X is only a 470mm machine, not 500mm. I'd stick with 3300-3700mAh. I run 3000mAh on my 500X, though only because I got a stupid good deal on them. My ideal pack would be 3300mAh for my flying, but IMO 4000mAh is a little too big as far as weight goes, if it does fit.
