Default Read/Interpret RPM--Kosmik log

My Data Explorer shows 170 -to- 200 in the "rpm/1 min" column.
My head speed should actually be around 1280-1410 (700 heli)--with optical mirror tach (if used correctly).

In K-Konfig I have "14 poles" and 9.43 gear ratio entered (Pyro 750-45, Soxos with 16 tth pinion)

Everything is current firmware (w/in 2 days)

Is anything right with this RPM log?

Thanks very much--I don't mind converting, if someone explains how

Sounds like you have a gear ratio or pole count set in data explorer. If you look at the raw log file in a text viewer does it have the correct RPM in the associated column?

The 'table" rpm column in DataExplorer gives the same figures as on the "graph" rpm (170-200).
Did you mean some other type of text editor?

My poles and gear ratio are in the K-Konfig program, and have supposedly been programmed into the ESC.

Does the DataExplorer program itself have a place to enter gear ratio, etc.?

Thanks

OK--found a text editor, and the rpm column does show normal-looking rpm numbers --ie. 1250--1460, etc.

Can the DataExplorer be configured to show those rpm numbers?

Thanks again

ill look at it later tonight but there should be an option in data explorer to add a gear ratio or pole count that you need to disable. Its meant for people who don't configure rpm settings in k-konfig.
