CGY750 Flybarless unit
Flying the CGY750 on a Nitro, can you use another brand magnet pickup sensor on the clutch bell, other than the Futaba branded one? Like the sensor from the Multigov Pro or other types and brand of magnet sensors.
NOT talking about the engine back plate sensor guys! |

I'm going to say probably not. I tried with a used helicopter and the sensor that was already mounted and it didn't work. I took off the unknown one and put the Futaba one on and away it went.

I've run a couple different sets of magnets in the bell and they don't have to be Futaba. Just make sure you don't have the same pole facing up on both. As for the sensor, it also doesn't have to be Futaba. I'm using an Align sensor on one of mine right now. I had to clip the connector off of it and crimp on regular servo connector pins and add a servo connector housing. Also, the red and black wire's positions have to be swapped.
