Default Connecting with Windows 10

Went to connect my DS16 to my Windows 10 PC today to add some sound files but the PC wouldn't recognise the radio.

Never had an issue before with this radio or laptop.

"Coincidentally" I had just finished doing the latest Windows 10 Update!!

Any suggestions on what I could try to get them talking together again?

Thanks

Sounds daft, but try a different USB port on your laptop, windows sees every port as a different device so will configure the drivers from fresh.

Failing that, try a different USB cable, it's unlikely but the timing could just be coincidence and these cables do fail from time to time.

After that, check device manager to see if you have any exclamation marks showing up as you connect the Jeti.

Thanks for the reply.

Have already tried a different port but without success.

The Radio is still charging off the lead (and asking to connect as a USB device etc) but the computer isnt recognising it as a drive.

I'll see if I can fond another lead to try.

Cheers

Have you tried asking the radio to go into USB mode, and then connecting to the PC? Just an idea.

Thanks Andy

I tried that and it connected straight away!

Then it started connecting automatically again when re-plugging it back into the laptop.

So far so good so thanks again!!
