Default I want one, where to buy?

Would be nice if I didn't have to pay taxes (i live in Cali) but also a coupon discount code too! Maybe just wait for black friday and see?

If you are after a 3s Blade Heli, I'd go after the 360 CFX 3s:
https://www.horizonhobby.com/helicop...asic-p-blh5050

The additional $100 gets you a carbon frame and a LOT better servo/linkage layout. Something you will appreciate if you change the FBL to something more tuneable.

It also appears that the days of Horizon coupon codes are over. Even authorized sellers can't allow use of their own site codes on Horizon products (A Main Hobbies as one example). I'm considering an new Horizon airplane ATM, but am on hold waiting for a sale or other discount of some sort.

Looks like Horizon is doing a Black Friday sale starting Wednesday the 22nd. So I'd wait until at least then before pulling the trigger on whatever model you decide to buy.

Thanks for the great answers. Will wait till Friday and see. My question can I upgrade the fbl say with a spirit in the future? Or is the servo layout too unconventional to upgrade?

There are a few guys that put a mini icon on it , that's what I'm going to do, check out the 450x thread and posts from Jon on step by step set up ..that's what I like about this model , it's been around for a few years and you can find all kinds of parts , support and upgrades for it because it's basically a 450x ..
