Saw it and commented. At this rate, you will be flying noon time demos in a year and competing in two.

Next up is a 700 size heli ideally later this year or maybe sooner, or I may just purchase a kraken 580 kit and sell the 570 airframe later because that one is beautiful as well.

Enjoy.

I'm not sure what noon time demos are, but that would be really cool to enter into helicopter competitions and/or have sponsorship's. I didn't know that was a thing, haha.

thanks for the kind words

I'm not 100% certain what noon time demos are either but at the IRCHA Jamboree last year, on Saturday afternoon there were several pro pilots with announcers and such doing things on the "Center Stage". Big long autos ... crazy tricks ... etc.. mainly what they were really doing was advertising products though .. various helicopters and so forth that they were flying.

Noon time demos is a term usually on IRCHA but it's more like any demo. What happens is that pro pilots usually reserve some time to go out to the flight line and take turns in making demo flights. Some events do this, but it was kind of a staple at IRCHA then I think it went away and was replaced by the Power Hour which is more brand-oriented. So I just meant achieving enough skill to perform a demo flight, basically

Another progress report video, 1 month 1 week into my adventure. I started flying helicopters about 2 months ago, maybe a smidgen more.

I can do most of this in RL (no one to video) but not as close to the ground (I fly high as I'm still learning and crashes in RL cost money as I found out. I'm rekitting into a G580 as a result of my binned G570 now. .

I can attest AccuRC translates to real life 100% nearly.

Enjoy.

In one month you learned how to fly AND how to build AND rebuild a 500+ size helicopter. That's majorly impressive.

You definitely need to get a head mount of some sort to record your video of real life flying.

Yeah, unfortunately I had to sell my Blade Fusion 360 to fund the Kraken 580 replacement and the new electronics for it. (servos are still good, no damage there). The motor and ESC were still good, but I sold them to supplement getting a HW 130a ESC + a new XNova Lightning motor.

Here is my 1 month 3 week progress video, just recorded today. Trying to master inverted flight basics now....

Enjoy.

It's been a mental battle and I get frustrated even in the sim. I try to train like I'm flying a real helicopter and money is on the line. (unless the virtual battery runs out, then I just crash it to reset the %, lol).

It gets intense for me for that reason. I just uploaded my 2 month progress video. Weeeee

yea thats way further along than i was at 2 months. I might make a couple suggestions

1) you can, in the workshop, toggle the battery usage off so that you don't have battery issues interrupting your training. Yo uwill then need to launch the model from the "my models" area so that it has that saved.

2) for inverted over training, or any hover training really, use the training mode as it puts a box for you to try to stay inside of. Way helpful for progressing.

Thanks....I finally bought the computer I had been waiting for which has made a big improvement. I`m still seeing some of the bugs in the software but the flying is great. I have some weird things happen that are either due to the sim software or Steam.

Default Starting to string together moves

Finally getting to the point where I can string together some basic moves, and it's all thanks to ARC2.

At the start of the summer, I was only able to do simple circuits and upright orientations. Now, I'm able to put together this. Nothing special, but it's a milestone for me

Hopefully my Google Drive link works - I was listening to some music while recording and I don't think YouTube will like it...

Thanks mate. Did have a bit of an oops in there, which would have been pretty bad IRL.

The more I fly helis, the more I appreciate the difficulty
