Default Blade 120 S new user question

Sorry could not find a 120 "S" subforum, so I thought I would try here. What is the wind limits of a Blade 120 S? I just got it, flies great but in fairly light wind I estimate at light and variable to maybe 5-6 mph, it was a handful and got away from me once. Unlike the R/C airplanes I lost in wind before, great thing about the heli is I just cut the throttle and flew it down to the ground when it was maybe 150' away, and retrieved easily.

120s like all fixed pitch helicopter has it's limitations.
One is wind. If you feel it. It's to windy for 120s.

Guys will B/S you but that's the truth. Enjoy it in zero wind conditions and when your comfortable flying move onto a collective pitch
helicopter.

Just got my Blade 120s! Super excited. I'm new to this hobby so I started out just hovering a little to get the feel. Well, after the heli battery died I switched batteries and now when I start the transmitter and plug the battery into the heli it makes a louder than normal screaming sound and started smoking. Also the tail boom won't seem to stay upright it twists like it's loose when I go to elevate. Any ideas..

It sounds like the tail boom got cracked/split and the wires shorted.
