Default 14SG to 16SZ Model Transfer?

I see that Futaba has a converter in the new 16SZ for direct model file conversion from the 14SG SD card.

Anyone done this with these particular radios? How did it work out for ya?

Thanks in advance!

I haven't done that but I think I saw a video about doing just that on the hobbico website

I've done it from the 14SG to the 18SZ. Same firmware and utility. No problems to speak of.

Details can be found at the following link on page 4.

Settings in the 16sz remained the same as your 14sg? I really don't want to go through setups again, if not really needed.

It worked for me, but I went through and verified everything and tweaked what I wanted. Found a couple things a bit off so I suggest a thorough checkup pre flight.
I flew a 14mz for a long time so this is like back to the similar menus and functions with telemetry added. Very quick to go through all the settings.

I'll add some I imported had expo added to aileron, elevator and rudder. Not all imported models so check. I didn't notice and it felt soft around center. Easy fix, but you should verify it didn't add it if your running it in the fbl unit.
