The sissy reply of the day. I'm not going to buy it unless it has safe, so I'm not worried to much about chopping my arm off the first time i fly it. And so i may be able to shoot some stable video with an iPad mini. iPhone. etc.

I highly doubt it'll have SAFE (stability mode). It will however probably, hopefully, have panic button function.

Nice video.. thanks for the link. Funny that even they maybe sometimes forget to fully charge a pack.

Video was impressive. I like it. Sounded like they were leaning toward releasing as a kit. In which case, you can buy your own FBL and it can have a rescue function. Looked about like a 5min flight. Was it me or did the motor just scream..and I don't mean fast...just a heavy whine. Not saying it was bad as they all have the different sounds and it obviously had plenty of power.

Full sized servos in a heli that size sounds cool too! I guess the big thing to see is how they do on the manual. I was never around for their pro-series helis and never saw them but all I know is the ones they provide with their helis now leaves a lot to be desired.

Looks promising. ARF (ESC and Motor only) or Kit would be nice.

Will it be competitively priced with Align? I'm curious of the weight. Looks like they wanted to save weight so, chose no battery tray. Hmmm... interesting.

I will say this.. as one of the original owners and persons that pre-ordered at 500x which then took a year to get only to be severely disappointed with it's issues I will say be smart and WAIT until it hits and people have bought it or someone gets the bugs out of it. Blade and a pre-built 500 size heli have not had the best go of it. Based on facts of the 500's they had. YES now it is 2018 and things are different.. none the less, I would be cautious for sure.

Just saying.............

Really?
I am not that sure if I would want an E-Flite motor in an ARF if it is not a well-known quality-assured 3rd party motor.

Have the E-Flite motors of the more recent heli models (250CFX, 270CFX, 270 Fusion, 360CFX 6s/3s) have got any better than those old crappy 4503D/450X motors with known bad bearings where the motor shaft burnt into if not glued in (and even that may not 100% work)?

I once read that the 450H heli motors would have been of much better quality....but they never were offered by HH as a replacement (or cheap upgrade) for old buyers, don't they?

What happend to the motor quality of e.g 450X V2 and 360? Better?

Please feel free to provide links to existing threads...

In contrast: This KDS motor just works fine and runs much smoother / more silent in my Blade 450 than my old corrupt E-Flite "screamer".

I believe I have never ever read about Align that their kits include helis motors which are an "addon" only for throwing it away - like E-Flite motor and BNF models??!?

I like them too. Different than anyone else. Light weight too and it seems as though they are separate pieces which might make life nicer in a crash.

If you like the looks of this heli and have any suggestions, tips etc....please contact James Haley at HH and make those suggestions........he was at the LV funfly with the protoype bird and was seriously asking folks what they would like to see, or see changed or improved. Let him know if you want BNF or kit or? He also said this one WILL have years of backup support . EM him with your suggestions...they are listening.

That's an excellent idea, and thank you for informing us. Do you happen to know what email address to use to contact him for these suggestions?

Is it just me or does it look pretty big for a 480mm machine?
I'm thinking more true 500 or 520ish even.

I like that it has full size servo but Mini is the defacto size for this class.
Maybe see if you can incorporate either. Like adjust height of lower bearing/servo block
