Make sure flight mode is in stability mode. Flip the rate switch to high rates. And hold everything for several seconds

Make sure you're high rates are set to 100. Only use the bind button if that is the panic recovery switch. If you have panic recovery set to a different switch then that is what you would need to hold down.

No problem. So if you go into the menu on you're dx8 and select "D/R and expo" this is where you set dual rates. Make sure dual rate is set to 100%/100% for each channel - aileron, elevator and rudder.
