Default How to hook up batteries on Trex 700

Hello Helifreak members,

I'm finally getting around to working on my first Trex 700. I bought this used a few years back and was to scared to try and fly it. Now I'm ready but the electronics are not a configuration I've seen before. First the motor is the BL700-MX and runs at 12S, I plan to use to 6S batteries.

The heli came with an ESC, BEC. The wiring is as such, The Positive wire from the ESC goes directly into an EC5 plug (#1). The negative wire from the EC5 plug (#1) goes into the positive plug on a separate EC5 plug (#2).
The negative from the EC5 plug (#2) goes into the negative of the ESC.

The BEC positive wire is connected to the positive of the EC5 plug (#2) and the negative wire is connected to the negative of the EC5 plug (#2).

My questions,

If I'm running 2 6S batteries do I connect one to EC5 #1 and one battery to EC5 #2?

If not do I need to build a parallel plug connector (EC5#3) and have that connect to a Y harness with to additional EC5 plugs (EC4 and EC5)? Then connect plugs EC4 to EC1 and EC5 to EC2?

Thanks for any help.

Thanks birchbore,
That looks to be what I'm looking for.
So this setup is used for a 12S setup? I'll check if I can find more info on CC website.
