Hey Les, I admire that you were able to come out of that, and stronger too!

A lot of people never escape that life. I was nearly there for the second time in my life just recently. I was going to say I could have been that guy begging for LiPos at the local club, but you said it better than I ever could have.

I've never been homeless, but I've been poor and I'd still be happy if my biggest problem was lacking the free time for hobbies. Though I understand it does suck when normal life doesn't leave any time for the fun stuff. Right now I have more time than money, but it's been the other way too.

We got 10+ inches of snow over night. We were only supposed to get an inch or 2 but the rain changed to snow much earlier than expected.

If thats not bad enough, we are supposed to get another 10"-14" today thru tomorrow night.

Good thing there was a day in march that the weather was nice and I got a couple pulls in. Doesnt look like Ill be flying anytime soon!

Les, I mean no disrespect to your challenges in life or any other person's. Yes first world problems on my part. In hindsight an attempt at a joke in poor taste.

My sincerest apologies.

We just got upgraded to a blizzard warning with an additional 14" to 18" of snow expected. Thats on top of the 12"+ we got last night.

No worries as like I said it just hit a nerve... I jock about my past life all the time but like I had said it has made me a stronger man and just wish more who have lived that life could or would find the straight to fight their way back. I hope all your stuff with the home works out as I know it can be very stressful and thanks for responding back and like I said no worries back in the day I would probably have said the same but as I have been there and really know what it's like I just reacted .... Just wish people would know how much they have and how quickly it can be gone and enjoy what you have .. If their is one thing I learnt being on the streets is that I don't take anything for granted anymore i love and cherish everything I have .. and happy flying .. Just enjoy it

I am glad for winter and snow.. it only adds value to bass fishing and heli flying. You must pay for something to appreciate it. This is why welfare doesn't really work.

Just make sure the snow stops soon enough so the Winnipeg Jets can fly in and whoop the wild....

We finally had a nice weekend here, and I still didn't get to fly haha. Grounded by someone mowing the field. Ugh.... maybe next weekend.
