lots light, lots a storage area, lotsa pegboard, workbench area of course, and it's nice to have at least one large workbench in the center of the area so you can move around it and also rotate things so you don't break them when you hit a wall

Im thinking one wall of work bench for sure. Shelves for the helicopters and not sure about storage.

I use the basement of my house as my man-cave. I have a nice bench and a peg board for all my parts. I just use a towel rack to hold my heli's as i only have 4. I can work in peace and not be bothered by my wife.

I use our formal dining room for a work room. Imagine a house flattened by a tornado: that's about what my work room looks like, so I won't pose a photo...unless you want to know what not to do.
