Default 330x question.(Resolved)

I bought a used 330x off of ebay, Heli looks really good. It looks like the previous owner had a tip over on his first flight, then put it up for bid. Upon inspecting it I found the spindle bent, I can't find any evidence of anymore damage. Actually, there's hardly any scuffing on main blade tips at all, but just enough were I can tell they hit the dirt. I ordered some parts including a main shaft set, just in case it's bent. Can anybody here with 450x or 330x experience tell me how easily do the main shaft's bend on this model with a tipover? I'm debating whether to try replacing spindle first, or just go ahead and replace spindle and main shaft once I get my parts. Thanks for your input.

Default Got it.

Parts came in today. I decided to go the easy route and just change the spindle, also put new dampners on it, Heli is smooth as a babies bottom now. It has some minor wobble going on, I'm going to adjust the gains down later to see if that takes care of it.

EDIT: Well, playing around with the gains didn't really do to much. I ended up raising my idle up throttle from 55 to 57 and the up and down wobbling completely went away. I also just happened to put a set of zeal main blades on it, not sure if that had anything to do with it or not.

Default 330x

I included some side by side pictures so you could check them out. Yes, the 330x is a whole different animal than the 270 in my opinion. Even though not much bigger really, it's way more stable and floaty in the air. Very locked in and tracks very well, just a nice and easy flying heli on a 3 cell 2200mah compared to the more punchy 4 cell of the 270.

Thx for the insight, and few pictures. I saved pic’s as screen saver ….haha..
Ya… little surprised that not much in size difference..hmm…
So in other words, 330x is for intermediate, and fusion 270 is more for advance flyer?
I’m looking into getting bigger than my fusion 270. Maybe go with 360 cfx instead.

Yes, although both helis are more than capable than my flying skills
I really liked both the 330x and the 360 cfx 3s, but what swayed me to the 330x was I had a 450x a long time ago, wanted to give the updated 330x version a try, and just happened to come across a good deal on ebay.
