Default Jeti Tx bells and whistles: document repository

After a few weeks of collecting bits and pieces of my former Jeti mastery which I totally managed to forget during these three years of not flying, I decided that it was kinda dumb not to document it back then 'cause I literally can't remember anything, so I decided to do that now. To get it all in one place, visible, auditable, commentable, and improvable, I created a GitHub repo, here:

https://github.com/madeye-rotorhead/...-configuration

At this point the only item documented there is the autorotation bailout alarm, but since I'm dusting off all my birds, one by one, and building a new one - you bet I'll collect all the stuff I'm doing in a form that would be usable for me should I forget to fly for another few years, or to my family if I get hit by a bus. Or to anyone else, for that matter.

At this point, I'll be using the Wiki system to write notes, as it is more agile, but that doesn't allow pull requests, so I'll consider moving pages to the actual repository should there be any demand for it.

If you want something to be added, fixed, or improved - here's the place to do it: https://github.com/madeye-rotorhead/...uration/issues

Enjoy.

Thanks for the idea.

There's no point in copypasting what others have done, I'll just include links to those pages in the table of contents.

Which sound did you use? I'm still looking for one that won't interfere with listening to the rotor.

Alarm, but I have it slowed down so it doesn't seem like its screeming at you. One question. How do you change the sequencer duration (time)? Do you have to re-setup the whole sequencer? or can you just change the time at 100%? Also can you change the rampup rate from 0 to 100 easily? I think mine is at 3 seconds now.

I don't remember exactly, it's been too long, but I don't think you have to do it from scratch. Look at the Jeti manual v3.00 (section 9.3.6), or just play with it, there's an obscure button sequence (involving F buttons, those next to the screen) to do that.

I just created three points - 100% at t=0, 100% at desired alarm duration, and 0% at 0.1 seconds later. Yes, you can change the rampup or rampdown, you just need to space points to your liking.

Thank. The rampup isn't that important. I have the logical switch set-up for anything greater than 0, so the value isn't really important. Just wanting to learn more about setting up a sequence.

I'll keep playing with sounds to see what works best.

I also have my "system beep" volume on the left rotary dial and the "overall volume" on the right dial. Quick access to getting the volumes at the correct levels.
