Push rod rubbing on tail case
I just notice on my 470LM that the tail push rod is just touching the underside of the tail case. Is this designed this way or has my tail bell crank bent forcing the push rod up to touch the case?

Mine
Mine did same thing because I was pushing ball on. I just bent it back a little.

Recommend using ball link pliers to install the ball link onto the ball. If you do not and pop on with your finger you will bend the arm until it is close to or will contact the tail case during operation.

Hi
I would never just push, always use pliers or pinch. Ie push from both sides.

I also always use the ball link pliers for the ball link.
So there should be no contact between the push rod end and the tail case? Maybe the bell crank has been bent by crash or other?

sounds like the arm is bent a little. mine is about 3mm away from the tail case and the arm on mine is dead straight

Mine rubbed also so I mounted it to the bottom of the servo mount. Problem solved. Align really should either change the instructions or rework the mount....

there is nothing wrong with the instructions. everything works perfectly as per the factory assembly instructions. until you bend the arm by installing the rod incorrectly [by hand and not using pliers]
