Default Blade 230s v2 throttle hold issue

Hi I’m new here and fairly new to RC helis. But I’ve been build RC car kits for years. So I have just been practicing hovering in mode 2 and 3 of this Heli and just taking it slow. I’ve gotten into the habit of every time I land I hit the throttle hold but I’m still trying to train out my habit of throwing the collective all the way down. After around two months of perfect flying the bottom half of the collective on throttle hold still spins the blades.(top half allows no rotation as it should)
No idea what happened. I called tech support and they said that for $40 a hour they could look at it. I said I’ll figure it out on my own thanks.
I’ve re binded the dxe and changed batteries. I’ve also taken the back off the radio to look for obvious shorts and such and have found nothing. At this point I’m thinking my receiver is bad do you guys have any tricks or thoughts?

I'm not too familiar with the DXE, maybe try updating it? Even if there isn't new firmware, maybe there is some kind of glitch in the programing.

Try posting in the Spektrum section or the 230s forum...

Immediate thought is that there is something wrong with your throttle curve in TH mode, but sounds like you haven't changed anything, and I'm not even sure you can program a TC in the dxe. At a minimum you would need the programming cable and your PC or phone to do it.

Again, try posting in one of the other forums to see if you can get some additional thoughts. This forum is mainly frequented by Trex 250 pilots.
