Default Blade General Question

I've wondered about something for some time, but wanted to ask now that I just bought a Blade MCPS and see it again in the manual. On all of the Blade helis I've bought, and all of the others that I have looked in the manuals on line, they all have D/R and Expo on switch F, not with the flight mode switch - why is that?

I have been flying helis for 18 years and have had many over that time, including a Trex 550X Dominator that I just recently finished, and on all of those, since you could put D/R and Expo on the flight mode switch, that is where I and most others have put them. Putting D/R and Expo on switch F just seems to me to complicating things instead of it just being associated with flight mode. Hopefully someone knows why they do it that way.

having that on switch F gives you greater flexibility. you may want a higher headspeed and lower rates one flight. with rates on F you can do as you wish. Thats likely the only reason.
