Default 250 tail servo

Hey guys ,
I just lost my tail servo on my 250 pro. It is a DS426M. Being that I have to replace the servo is this servo still viable or does align make an updated one for it. I don't fly this one much and have not kept up with all the latest on it.
Thanks
Rich

Most 250 folks would say the "holy frail" servo would be an MKS DS95i. It's strong and fast and will even mask an improper setup. The downside is cost and weight: about $80-90 and 21g. An alternative to the MKS would be a KST DS213 which is strong and fast but is around $30 or so. BK makes a similar servo : DS-3005HV for around $65. They would all work well so it really depends on how much you want to spend and what kind of product/part support you expect. Hope this helps!

There's always the spektrum h3060 - 13g, metal gears, .029/6v - but don't run it higher than 6v.

You might check the Oxy 2 forum for suggestions if you are willing to consider servos other than Align...who I imagine don't make their own anyway.

Thanks guys,
I went ahead and ordered an Align one. I talked to the guy at the Align Trex store and he put me onto their latest servo offering for the 250. the first one lasted about 7 or 8 years so I don't fly it that much , so the align one will work for me.
