Glad to hear as the Max2 had great visual perception for the Big Air Flying with my Old Eyes.

Seems like a logical marriage, with both being Italian companies.

I wouldn't mind social media so much if it didn't involve people.

XL is based in China. And has a strong supply chain.

I was going by a search where I found a Facebook page for XL Power Italy. I just assumed; incorrectly, as it turns out.

Is engineering staying in Italy?

There is no more Italy. Davide and Corrado are moving on. All additional design/test work will be by Ra Kabun. Not by me or Italy. As the announcement said - msh literally is XL Power now.

So MSHUSA isn't going to be the USA supplier anymore?

Sure sounds like it. MSH Electronics (Brain/iKON) will presumably continue in Italy, since it's a separate entity.

Now I want to try a Specter 700 😀
It's amazing that a company was willing to step up for the sake of our awesome hobby!

Pure speculation on my part but I'd expect XLPower to be looking to consolidate manufacturing facilities and distribution networks for both their current range and their 'legacy' MSH range. It makes sense on many levels to do this rather than trying to keep two entirely seperate organisations going alongside each other.

Could take a little while to get the new manufacturing going I'd guess as if I'm right they will most likely have to tool-up for MSH helis in a different manufacturing facility.

Time will tell.....

What existed in Italy will be shuttered (already is). Everything is shipping back to China and will be built there, leveraging XLP supply chain.

IMO this is a huge improvement and overall win for MSH owners.. Italy struggled badly the last years with its supply chain management. As well as razor thin margins because of these suppliers and seemingly no ability to find better options. Despite margin problems it never changed over the years. This hobbled dealer adoption of the kits.

So there you go. No need to wait and see.
