Nope, no screws included in my set! Also, seems like my frame-side mounts were defective since they broke when using the stock post screws.

Those canopy mount screws are 1.6 x 5.so just be sure thats what you are using, although I would assume you would notice if they were to big when you originally built it. If they are the right size then doesn't give much confidence in the mounts. Eager to see how others go with theirs.

My calipers say 1.50 mm when I put them across the threads. Yeah, hoping others will give feedback on theirs.

Hey for the people who did order..... Did you get tracking numbers cause I order some on the 2/17 and ship on 2/19 (2 days delivery) still do not have it. I know sometime postman will drop my mail not the wrong suite but I don't know if it have been delivery or not

I got my tracking number in an email from sales@magmountz.com when it shipped. Check spam?

You used the wrong side. That's the canopy side xoe.
Long standoff into canopy from inside. Plastic washer and small screw from the outside. I used my own screws. Mine were missing.

But on my second side, it cracked. These things are very brittle. Last pic.

How did you know which side is which?

None of the four pictures for the Oxy 2 mount show a screw. Doesn’t even show the washer. http://www.magmountz.com/mounting-sy...anopy-post-set

Many of the other heli mounts do show a screw:

I used the long standoff on the frame side since the stock posts themselves stick out.

Oh well. I’m more upset on losing out on the shipping than I am about the $5 posts.

I contacted the owner to see what’s what.

The skinny long part fits into the canopy grommet.The frame one is the stubby one.

So the oxy 4 max went on ok.

But they don't hold at all.

The owner got back to me. Here is a FB post that he directed me to. The cracking is a known issue that has to do with self tapping screws and will be resolved.



He’s sending me a new mounting set. Kudos to owner. Even called me to let me know! Thumbs up service. Hope the new set works out.

i seen that video otherday, i hadn't even seen this thread. Looked like doesn't do well. So in the video he had it installed wrong?

Thanks for the Oxy 4 replacements, they arrived in today's mail.

The replacements are a little bigger in diameter with a bigger / beefier magnet, I like them.... Hopefully later this weekend I'll get a chance to install them.
