Default Where to find belt and belt tensioner?

Any idea of where I can find a replacement belt and belt tensioner for my 7HVU? Nothing wrong my current but wouldn't mind replacing before the season kicks in just to be safe.

have you tried any over seas shops for the belt. You should be able to cross reference on from a local timing belt supplier. As for the tensioner, if you are referring to rubber piece. Myself and other team pilots had success using a piece from an old bicycle inner tube. As for the rest of the parts, You might have to wait until the release of the RSR chronos. Hopefully they announce the release date next weekend at Rotor Live.

Thank you for the tips. I'll give both a shot.

Just as side note, I remember Dave Kettelhut's prototype 7HV (same belt tensioner)... He had no rubber band, he used tie wraps to hold the arm in place.

Buy a bicycle tyre tube and cut it for rubber band.

As another side note, that day at the Mid-America fun fly--the first one at the airport on Grosse Isle, I went over Dave's 7hv with a fine toothed comb. I loved it then, I loved mine, and I love my Chronos. I'm sure I'll love the RSR when it's released.
