Default setup help!

Hello everyone. I am technically still a newbie to rc helicopters. I recently dusted off my blade 450x bnf and put all new spektrum metal gear servos in due to stripped out servos previously. I had no problems with my setup previoulsy as I was using a Spektrum dx6i radio. Since then I have upgraded to a spektrum dx18 and I am having trouble dialing in the proper setup in my radio. I am still getting some tail wobble when flying and I recently turned the gyro function on in my radio and my servos got so hot they smelled like they were about to burn up. Fortunately, I realized it in time and turned everything off. I am at a complete loss as to how to proceed here. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
