Default Newly installed MicroHeli Oceania CF Fuselage on Blade 230 S V2

Put my new MicroHeli Airbrush Carbon Fiber Oceania Fuselage on my 230 S V2.

Im colorblind, and even I can tell this looks pretty bad with the orange blades. Suggestions on a good color for blades and fin? I was thinking white.

Oh, most definitely white! It has good visibility and matches your canopy nicely....

Looks nice. Maybe I'll get around some day to putting mine on (same one). It'll probably go on my V1 though that has white blades and tail fin. It already has a blue AL swash as well I bought at the same time as that fuselage. If you want put a CF black tail blade on instead of the white.

I'm not a fan of using colors that match the sky. It reduces visibility and causes you to lose orientation very easily. Red usually shows up well in the sky, and anything darker, like black, shows up really well.

White blades! I've always liked a white disc in the air.

A little off topic.. But how do these little helis fly with the extra weight of the fuselage?

I am a bit afraid of the blue/white color scheme with visibility. Will just have to see. Experiment!

I won’t have time to fly the 230 S with extra weight until Monday. I’ll report back about how it feels then. May make a crappy video too.

Against my better judgement I flew the newly fuselaged 230 S V2 in my small backyard. Everything went okay, but I couldn't really do too much with it.

Here's the video I made in case you want to see it in flight. It's great! Love it!

Maybe try some 255mm blades on it and see what you think. I have them on my V1. I eventually extended the tail but it flew fine without it. Lots available as that is what the Oxy 3 standard model uses.

Would love a picture of that stuff! Post if you get it thrown together.

Not a bad idea. CF blades?

This 230 S was supposed to be my beater, something I fly and don’t care too much if it crashes. What have I done?

I have Zeal CF ones on my V1. Oxy makes some plastic ones in different colors if you prefer. They definitely add more lift factor that might help offset the full fuselage.

Looks really cool!

Those orange blades can be seen from outer space! Awesome.

I think they're ugly as hell with the fuselage, yet for some reason they are growing on me. And they ARE visible, you're right! Maybe I'll go bright yellow at some point. My Nano S2 has the blue fuselage and yellow KBDD blades that really pop.
