I agree. What’s a guy gotta do to get some V-curve in here?

My idea for such measurement is to ignore the stick movements during testing.
That is why my pitch curve is to set zero pitch flat and TC is also flat.

sure enough, I just test it with a lot of settings and in RED led mode and it ignores throttle signal. Seems like a bug. That is why Throttle hold doesn't work and you need throttle cut.

Just found an easy fix to Mode 2 ignoring TH. When setting up your throttle curves, use a flat -15% in the hold setting (instead of the typical flat 0%). On DX6 this equates to a throttle value of -130 in the monitor screen, which is same as default throttle cut. Now mine works like I would expect; one TH switch is effective in all modes. Not sure whether other computer radios work the same.
bravedan and drparker151 like this.

That’s great. Didn’t realize you could do negative values there.

OK, thanks for TH negative idea!

I flagged HH re: no Throttle Hold and they replied:-

"please try this different settings for the mix:
On the Aux > Gear mix there are the two values 100% and 20%. That is not enough to push the copter into Panic mode and needed to be increased to 100% and at least 35%"

I have no idea why this is the answer for no throttle hold, or even if it is, and I don't know what they mean by > either!!

That symbol is in the mixing panel in Spektrum TXs. It means the Aux Channel is affecting the Gear channel. Aux —> Gear. Sort of like that.

And yeah, that’s not really an appropriate answer from HH.

I just picked up a DX6 G3 and they have the transmitter factory set to -150% on TH now. Guess they seen everyone complaining and did something about it.

I guess that’s one way to address the issue. Whatever works.
