Default No pitch control (Video)

Hey all, i've owned every blade micro that ever existed and for the life of me can't figure out how to get this thing to fly properly....
I have 0 25 50 75 100 pitch curve

IU1 fly's fine for SAFE mode....I hate SAFE mode..
IU2 has zero pitch control.. All other controls ail/elev/rudder seem to work fine. When I switch into IU2 it shoots upwards.

When in hold it appears to be switching between Safe and "3D" mode" when I move collective??
I'm lost, anyone have any ideas?

Did you hold rudder stick fully right when binding?

I did hold right rudder in bind mode but i have an ix12 so i can’t “turn on my radio holding the bind button and right rudder” as the manual suggests.

Is this a symptom of that right stick hold not registering?

You said in HOLD when you move your collective stick (throttle I assume) the LED change from blue to red and vice versa...how do you set the switch?

I remember I have the same symptom when I try to assign a different switch for gear channel (per manual same switch is assigned for Gear channel and Flight mode). That goes away when I assign the gear switch back to the same as Flight mode switch.

This might indeed be a symptom of not binding correctly.

1/ install battery in heli, wait for the blinking led
2/ turn on your IX12
3/ go to your created profile for the S2, buttom left you will see "bind"
4/ hit the bind button on your screen and immediately hold rudder fully to the right until initialisation has been completed

give it a try

Default No Collective control here also on Nano S2 in Stunt Mode.

Created and programmed a new model, all is good except when I hit stunt mode. I have no collective control, it just wants to climb in stunt mode. I even checked the monitor on my Spektrum DX6e in stunt mode, shows everything should be working correctly. I did bind again, still no collective control when in stunt mode. Also bound it to another brand new Nano S2, same thing. I wonder what is happening here, makes no sense! I’ve had some a couple nice blade products, but a couple that were dead on arrival. I am wondering if these nanos are actually capable of anything other than “safe” mode or if the main board is bad, or...... what? .

Hey everyone, got it figured out!
Turns out my heli instincts had me flipping the hold switch and the Nano S2 performs throttle calibration when binding!

After disabling hold and ensure throttle stick was at 0 it bound and now flys!

Technically the manual does actually say all switches need to be at 0 so guess that’s on me....just don’t forget to have throttle at zero to because to me that was also unclear.

Thanks for everyone’s help! Time to enjoy this little guy!

I agree.. The previous yellow blade nano cp I had no problem with using my dx6i, doing hurricanes you name it.. I have my trex 500, hybrid 450, and previous nano cpx that works awesome with my dx6i. This nano S2 is garbage when I slip in into idle up" all over the place". Does it just not like the dx6i? Do I need the controller it comes with to solve the problem? Currently I'm just rebuilding the legacy nano, but I'm with you I think I just bought spare parts for my legacy nano.
