Default Anyone managed to break the blades yet on the S2?

I have been flying the Nano for years and until the new blades came out I have always used the stock BLH3311 blades (now discontinued). In a blade strike they would usually crack the blade or damage it pretty badly. Since the S2 came out and Blade created new main blades, I have found that they are extremely tough and survive a lot of crashes without cracking. Has anyone managed to really kill a set? Either way Iím glad the new blades are tougher. They also look a lot nicer in my opinion too!

Don't know about the old blades, but the S2 blades take a beating without cracking.

Actually I borked an orange KBDD blade on the S2. It did hit something hard at full rpm though.

I'm on my second set with cracks or chunks taken out of the trailing edges from the blades smacking each other.

My son's been working on inverted flight and flips so they saw quite a few hard crashes. I'm happy how well they, and the chopper, are holding up.

Yeah I am loving those new Nano blades. I just ordered a few sets to keep on hand. They really hold up well after crashes and don't split easily.

On a side note, I noticed that they did away with the hi-performance blades for the S2 and only include the bulleted (fast flight) blades. Personally I always thought the bulleted blades flew smoother anyway and work just as good for 3D.

I just finally replaced my first set of these new blades. I would probably estimate they survived about 25 good crashes and they still looked good. The leading edges were dented in many places and the blades had a lot of scrapes but surprisingly they did not crack or split. Time used to be that I would sit down and sand the blades a little bit to reprofile them but I don’t feel bad spending 4.99 on a new set seeing how much abuse they can take. Good job on these new blades, Mr. Blade!
