Nice to see a little activity here again! I hope to have one of my 550/600 kits in the air as a night machine in three or four months, after my daytime flying skills are better.

Still love these big, beautiful birds. Only flew mine once last year.. think im getting cold feet worrying about gravity taking over and not being able to find parts..

Maybe this year I'll try and fly the blades off her.. doesn't do me any good as a wall ornament I suppose.

I seen some 500x for sale in my area but never seen a 550 in very long time. Its either you fly the crap out of it or you pull the electronics and retire it for good not much options.
