Default Logo 500/550 Travel Bag

Hi All,

I noticed that SAB and Align make travel bags for their helis. Anyone using one for transporting their Logo 500/550, and if so, which one do you use and how is the fit?

Thanks,

I used to use a Align 700 bag. It was a little long but worked fine. The Align 550 bag I had would not fit. But mine was a Logo 550 SE. 600 boom.

Looking for carry bag for stock 550sx. My Align 500/550 bag is too small. SAB bags are nice and generously sized (have the big one for my Trex 800e DFC) but the 550 bag is showing as discontinued or at least out of stock everywhere.

Align 600 bag no longer available. Turnigy 600 bag discontinued.

Any suggestions? Does anyone have the Tarot? I have a 700 size and it’s not bad, but I don’t want to have one shipped from China just to find out it’s too small.

I have 2 Logo 480xx and store them in the SAB 500/570 bag.

I am also able to fit my DX8 soft case, 5(could put like 20) lipos, and a small tool pouch.

Let me know if you want pictures

The SAB bags are nice, and not overpriced. I have the big one for my Trex 800e Pro DFC.

If/when the SAB 500/570 bag is available again, I would definitely consider it. BUT... I measured my my 550sx with the canopy on, and if the SAB bag published dimensions are correct, I don't think it would quite fit.

I would love someone to prove me wrong because I've been looking and haven't found any good options in this size.

The bags are made for 1 helicopter.

1 is loose and 2 is extremely snug. Borderline overpacked.

Next time it's empty, would you mind measuring the inside dimensions of the bag L x W s H. Thanks.

43L 7.5W 15H

The bag is very flexible and can stretch very wide for 2 helis if they are not as tall as the bag.

Have you considered the bags made by Ace wing carrier?
