Default Vbar NEO Cyclic drift help

Hello guys,

A friend of mine is having an issue on his goblin with vbar neo. It’s a Neo with V link. The swash is level and CoG is perfect. It hovers straight and level. The issue is that sometimes when the helicopter is pushed hard for like 2-3 minutes once coming in to land the helicopter starts to drift to the left. You need to hold the cyclic to the opposite direction to keep the helicopter level otherwise it will drift. Seems like the swash is totally not levelled at that moment. This has happened 2 times in about 8 flights. He is flying it with a V control.
Glad if anyone can help

Check the vibrations via the vibration app while only in a stable hover. It seems that excessive vibrations are causing the Neo to not work properly.

Post the log of one of the flights as well maybe something else is causing it.

Yes we are getting vibration errors in the log. The strange thing I saw was that there was an error saying that the IMU sensor Z axis Hangs and then IMU sensor Z axis released. Any help

Z-axis hang is from the older IMU sensors. It does happen but should not have an effect on the flying. It is normal to have vibration alerts in 3D flying but only check for vibrations during a stable hover.

Please post the log of an affected flight, then we can have a better picture.

i just checked and the vibration analyzer was showing 600 in normal mode and 1000 in idle up. This time it drifted badly and was about to flip but luckily i saved.

Someone suggested to change the set of servos and try and i did that and now the drift has gone. Now the analyzer is showing 250 in normal mode, 350 in idle up 1 and 380 in idle up 2. But again the Z axis sensor hang error is there in the new log but again no drift till now.

what could be the issue

The Vbars are safe to fly as long as they boot successfully.
