Yes, the new LVT and HVT series do

I have the YGE 95LVT on my 550 and the Tribunus 130 on my 690, using the BEC on both. I've had no problems with either one.

AFIK, the only issue with the BEC seems to be with back EMF if you set it to 8.4v. I set mine at 7.4 and run a backup guard and have never had a glitch on the 7 that I am running.

Thank you GregCA, that's exactly what I wanted to see. I like that there are some options out there. Thanks.

Ok, here is the update on my question. It works just like I wanted it to. You plug in the flight pack and wait for the pitch twitch then plug in the main pack when ever you are ready. You get the Morris Code from the motor/ESC and the battery selection screen on the Vcontrol when you plug in the main pack. I ran the motor and verified the Govener working. Then when you unplug the main pack it throws up the flight report even though the flight pack is still plugged in. So really it just works like is is supposed to. Thanks for all of the input.

I would have no problem making her a signer after 3-4 dates, as long as it's a NDA or prenuptial agreement. Its 2019 out there, you got to be careful. 😆😆
yup.. its all right here..

Boy that YGE sure looks cheesy to me. It looks sort of cheap and Chineese.(almost everything including Scorpion is made in China) But looks really does not mean anything, with speed controls anyway. Also it does not look like the servo wires are detachable like the Tribunus. I like the fact that I can use any length wire I need. Now if we can get Scorpion to ditch the Gold anodizing for black or something. 🤔🤔

Detachable servo wires is one of the things I don’t like about the scorp. Don’t need a second point of contact to come apart. The yge leads are very long, which is good.. they reach without extensions. I have a 65A and love it. And fwiw, yge is german, not chinese.
If your worried about where something is made, I wouldn’t.. you wouldn’t be able to leave the house, you would be naked, or drive anything, let alone watch tv. Just calm down and fly something. Lol.

I take all that back that I said about the YGE looking cheap and cheesy, It is just the one in the Amain link above looks cheap and cheesy. I went to the YGE site after it was mentioned that YGE is actually German. I am an old school Schluter/Robbe guy and i am aware that the Germans make some high quality stuff, light years ahead of China! I like the 205HVT as it has servo wires the can be disconnected. It also appears that the 120HVT is available in black, blue and silver, I'm not sure about the 205HVT being available in black or Silver as I only see a blue one. I think I may go with the 205HVT in my E7 that I'm building. Thanks for the info, I actually learned something valuable today.

There is a thread on here about requiring the YGE to USB lead should you need to enable telemetry for V-Bar Control or do any firmware updates. It is quite pricey apparently, around $50.

I like the detachable leads. Makes wiring much nicer.

OP: Esc's have come a long way. The bec's today are far more robust and trustworthy. I run all my models off the internal bec without any form of backup. Never an issue in many years.
