Default Trex250 crash

Hey all,

its been a long time since i have flown. The last time i did i crashed my beloved trex250 (the first edition).

Even though i liked the little devil, the whole process i had to go through to make it flyable was too much. I dont want to go through this again.

So i ask you, is there any heli in this range (lynx?) that i could use complete sevos+motor+esc combo on?

regards, Z

I went through almost exactly the same situation and ended up with an Oxy 2. It flies very well - much better than the Trex. I however did replace all my servos with newer ones as the old ones were still analogue!

Depends on your performance expectations. If you don't need a beast, the Blade 230s V2 is what you want. Super easy to fix, comes with good servos and its really a steal at the asking price. They sell the whole head for under $20, no need to take things apart. The tail motor is super robust, you'll just replace blades.

If you need a real hotrod, the Oxy 2 is fantastic and much easier to service than the Trex 250 BUT, and its a big BUT, parts are expensive. Not a heli you want to be crashing a lot.

I never was a fan of Blade helis, so this is a no-no for me.

I was looking at oxy2 yes. I know the parts are pricy, but as long as i can use anything from my old trex250, i'll be happy. Our heli market here in Slovenia is pretty small and its hard to sell anything, so i'd like to use as much electronics as i can.

Thank you, z

I think that beside the electronics (and only if your Trex 250 is already FBL) there is nothing you can move from the Align to the Oxy 2.
