Hey guys I'm a little late to the party here... What exactly is this update going to allow us to do and what's the benefit over the "current process". I have the Vbar classic and the HW Platinum V4.

I'm trying to update the HW120A v4 running PL-04.0.07 firmware to PL-04.0.07-vbar for neo telemetry and the box showing available versions is blank. Does anyone else know why? I have the latest USB Link (4.0.8) database: 05-28-2020
I updated my HW130A to the latest firmware with vbar telemetry fine, no issue.
HeliSocal had the same problem, wonder if someone here can give a hand

Yes it works on non-touch v-control ..Ive set up my HW 120 v4 and all is working fine..I also use a y harness to let me plug in the HW fan too..plugged rite in!

I think you run the sotftware while linked to the program box or ESC, and it pulls the file from the web.

Actually, after some investigation, the firmwares are stored in the .db3 file, which is an SQLite database file.

I cannot update my Align 130 using the Hobbywing dongle (this one https://hobbyking.com/en_us/usb-prog...a-60a-esc.html )

While I can alter settings just fine, when I go to firmware, it shows the ESC model and the installed firmware, but there is no option to choose new firmware in the drop down or update it. The old asbox software works as expected as I accidentally re-flashed it when I thought I was updating the database.

Updated my Align branded HW120 esc ( Align RCE-BL100a ),

I've tested it for a couple of packs,
No magic smoke, no issues at all, customized my vcontrol screen, added a battery next to the timer,
mah counter works precisely.

my download update for the asbox wont open the zip files..says it cant open them.. i just wanted to try to update the box.. i did update my align 100 esc to 4.0.0.6 but i dont think thats the latest fw.
it has a mikado ui sensor, so i really dont need the new fw.. was just trying, and as usual, im pc challenged.

ive extracted a bunch of files before, but reciently im having problems.
i think my mcafee is blocking the download, but i cant figure out how to temp turn it off.. its that or this new edge browser

it also says the zip file that i downloaded is empty.. somehow its getting blocked

1). Double-click the "McAfee" icon in the system tray to open the McAfee control panel.

2.) Click the "Navigation" link in the top-right corner of the McAfee window to view the Navigation Center.

3.) Click the "Real-Time Scanning" link to view the antivirus options.


4.) Click the "Turn off" button to open the Turn Off window.

5.) Select an option in the "When Do You Want to Resume Real-Time Scanning" drop-down box. You can select to resume in 15, 30, 45 or 60 minutes, or resume when you restart your computer. If you select "Never," the virus protection feature will not work until you enable it manually.

none of that works..it says my trial period has ended..

uninstall it? I'd just use windows defender tbh. If you're internet savvy then you shouldn't have any issues.

It comes default with windows 10.

i did, now im trying to delete 15 versions of the align fw 1.0.7.. but the delete option is gone when i right click.. i f$kin hate pc's

also dont know what tbh is.
i am not pc savy.. im the first to admit it.over and over again

weird.. uninstalled mcafee in add/remove.. but still pops up when downloading the asbox.. im using the link above

tried downloading it 10 times.. keeps saying the zip folder is empty.

Can anyone here tell me the difference between this new update and using the Mikado UI sensor?? I'm using the Hobbywing Platinum 160 and get plenty of info from the UI senor..

ok, there is a problem with aligns site and the download for the asbox.. it corrupt or doesnt work.. tried another pc.. same thing.. so its not me.
