Default Neu motor 22 pole motors

Hi. Neu has released more 24 slot 22 pole machines. I have received a 4632 raw stack. https://neumotors.com/neumotors-3800...00-watt-class/

Oh my bad. For people crying online... I had forgot to show yall I had been wount the first layer (17awg) of the um 4632 Steve sent well anyway ...... Y'all like it? Yeah.... The 200 C wire is loose right now, relatively, but that assures me I can get the other layer in. That would be 8 turns and that,s good, but my aim is at least10, so imma need myspace. You feel me? If I do that I'll be > 60%. I want 12 turns but I just don't think it's gone happen. That would be near 70% . Ya mouths will be shut for sure then. Well maybe not If you think's it easy to lay it in here like this with this mono CRAP!!!! try it. There's not a nick on this stator. YET Imma keep it traditional because this great motor really needs no tricks. If I get some copper in there she gone fly regardless. I'm working on the pcb end plates for the wye - d's but I could still terminate or wind them the old style if I wanted to. The pcb's and no crossover wires would really rub it in. Wish me well.... I know it's hard but don't hate on ya boy...

According to LT it will easily fit but cad is easier than reality. This is approximately 60%. Please enjoy what you came here for

You can drop a phase and keep running efficiently with semi 12 phase asymmetrically arranged open ended coils with cascaded bridges. Vector math shows the very high winding factors. Also is the verified harmonic content.

There is a bit of overcite on RC groups. A Neu outrunner wire is rated for 200C and the magnets are 180C if you are running anywhere near these temperatures you simply need to gear down or buy a larger motor. I keep hearing complaints about noise and vibration but trash iron filings or whatever could be get into the open frame motor designed for axial cooling. A sealed motor or one with strategically placed vents is better for this surface vehicle environment. Steve, a very competent pilots's, motors do what they say with a prop in front of them a free air flow to the coils. Since the motor is not in the right posture for optimal cooling on the bike as his is in a plane its designed for you have to implement some cooling trick to run at them at his rating for an extended period.

User error.

I would not run a hybrid setup or big EV sinus drive with a trapezoidal distributively wound machine if max torque and top efficiency is a goal. Only a 1:1 scale model are these huge azz bricks suitable for. LOL

If you are having balance issue, which I've never had with any Neu I owned,
solicit ChX he designed a kitchen lab rotor balance rig from McDonald's happy meal toy motor and small belt drive.

A member there has also designed an active balance and includes the BOM, code, and pcb template .If I can find it Ill post it.
Raptorapture likes this.

A beautiful orthocyclic lay started dedicated to KOBE (#24). Since the coil span is two on the 24 slot machine we can parallel each coil pair and only end up with 3 conductor pairs for 6 teeth. I go for lower kv and higher voltage motor. With all the parallel connection I hope to fall well below 300 kv and have still a low resistance. The fill should be well above 60%.The smaller wire should also yield better inductance matching between the coils. That helps stabilize the deltas. The turns ratio is approximately w2=w1sqrt(3) We will let Kobe run with APD as he like high voltage performances. With the parallel coils I guess you could really call it a yyyy+dddd.

I like it too Raptor. I've asked Christian several times to explain to us how it works but he's on mars somewhere right now so we can only hope he returns to earth soon enuf. In the meantime ill find the digital balance I saw. My emails and his replies are always several days apart.

Default other cool options.....

What happened to the discussion MAX ? It fell of after a real performance graph? You should spend more time with the calculator esp if you plan to send out global performance reports about it. At least be accurate!

Good luck

Powercroco sponsored F3S pilot opinions about neumotors once again a long way from reality.

Default Kitchen lab portable power supply.

Lers try 3 or 4 of these in series for a bench supply. They are cheap enuf. We only need short durations and the price is reasonable for the amperage delivery.

Default Paper thin.....

No wire size or fill reports? At least the nomex takes up space and helps it look EXCEPTIONALLY filled. Gfx end plates? Why u need those Ralph ? Bust the enamel croco style.....A better turns sides ratio is possible that virtually eliminates the 2 pole harmonic in the 22 pole machine.
Good luck.
