Default Xnova lightening 480kv Motor...

Hi there, I recently bought a new Xnova 4530 480kv lightening motor, in replacing my scorpion 450kv motor.. I heard great things about these motors and decided to give it a shot.. I have this setup on my Goblin 770s on 14s, which is a direct comparison to previous setup, only had to lower pinion one tooth to make up for the correct gearing at 2000 head speed that im running.. But Im noticing that this motor feels like it has less power than that of my scorpion 450kv motor.. so far im not impressed, or maybe i missed something along the way..

When looking at the specs of the Xnova 480kv lightening, it shows that its capable of higher wattage than my scorpion, but it doesn't seem like it in reality. Also, im not so sure of what is the peak current on the Xnova, its not listed..??

My Setup.. G.770s- gear ratio is 10.2:1
ESC= Kosmik 200a
MKS x8 Servos
Xnova lightening 480kv
Vbar Neo
VbcT
14s pulse lipo

ok Chris, I'll ask a question that may help...did you do this?

On the xnova site ( https://www.xnovamotors.com/xnova-motors-esc-settings/ ) it says:

KONTRONIK:

MODE 4 AUTOTIMING (remember to reset your ESC when exchanging motors-MODE 1 then MODE 4).

not sure if you did this or not, but if you didn't it may help?
