Default Need help programming rescue mode on QX7 with Brain 2

Was not sure if this should go under here or the brain 2. seems to me you need knowledge of both. I really need help with how to program the Brain 2 rescue feature on the Taranis QX7 based on my current model setup which I'm attaching. I don't want to replace this model with someone else's setup as I"m used to it and flying well with it. I just need to add rescue. Any chance someone can tell me based on my setup what is needed to make this work?

Maybe using this post and link to another model that you can load on your TX would help you figure this out for the model you use?

I don't use the Brain so I cant' address that specifically.

Looks like I just need to copy mixer channel 8 in the above and just assign the desired switch.

If you don't figure it out I use the iKon FBL system and can help.
I use the SH momentary switch. It's not good if rescue or self level gets left on.

I just tried it in companion. You can go to mix pages scroll down to ch8 and add one mix to channel 8, select SH (or switch of your choice) as source and in multiplex select replace. No need to select a switch.

I originally set it up with 2 mixes with MAX as source, a value of -100 switch selected down and the other a value of 100 with the switch selected up. I see now that only one mix is necessary with the switch as source and stock value set.

Then it should show up in the Brain2 software.

Before closing out name it Rescue in outputs page so it shows up in your channel monitor.
You should see it moving -100 to 100 with the flip of the switch.

Again I highly recommend SH switch unless you have another momentary switch.
That way when you let go of it all function returns to normal.
