Default Sbus channels & Spirit FBL

I'm confused about my Spirit software configuration. I have my Q7 working on what I think is AETR. That is what the Profile is showing, and my model has Throttle on Channel 3.

When I setup the channels in the General area, I set the values to the input channels to match the AETR. Saved it.

But when I then check Diagnostics, the Throttle, Ail and Ele are all messed up.

If I tell the Spirit that I'm on TAER, then everything works as it should.

Is this totally screwed up or am I missing some key part of using OpenTX, Sbus and the Spirit ?
