Question Aluminum swash?

Where can I get one? And is this the only upgrade I need?(have a bunch of spare motors from motor warehouse). Does the tail need to be upgraded?

The metal swash is the one essential upgrade. The microheli one works great for me:

Precision CNC Aluminum Swashplate

I'll bet you can find one on eBay, as I recall it is NextRC that sells them on eBay.

So got my MIcroheli swash and it was assembled. Do I need to take it apart and threadlock everything? and if yes HOW?

I've had a few of those swashes, and I've never disassembled any of them. It seems like more damage could be done than any good by trying to take it apart.

My pleasure. I've never had one of those swashes fall apart. Just inspect it, install it, and go fly.

Now You just need a set of (7) 001-size silicone O-Rings...

(3) for the servo links
(4) for the swash/grip balls

They will stiffen up the head quite a bit

Got the Microheli swash installed but can't keep the anti rotation pin in it. Have crazy glued it twice and lost it twice. Found it by dragging a magnet over the living room floor. Glad its hardwood and not carpet!

Ok, you can get a metal epoxy or maybe use green thread lock. Clean the hole and the pin, sand the mating surfaces and then glue them together. Or, get another swash.

I have two metal swashes, one lost the pin and the other is rock solid. Luck of the litter, I suppose.

An epoxy designed for metal will work. If the pin fits tightly in the hole, then green thread lock (like we use for pinion gears) should work.

How is micro heli nowadays? When nano cpx was new, they weren’t particularly good due to soft aluminium used...
Now when lynx is focussed on oxy, seems not much options...

I have experience with only the swash for the nanos. They are so light that the soft aluminum is likely strong enough. Anything bigger, I don't know.

I had a MH swash on a CPX with no problems. I have a MH swash on my MCPX and all is good there. Rakon and Lynx on some mcpx BL's I had, no issues. Everything can break over time and hard surface crashes.
