Default Vbar Mini-Rapid flashing on boot up-

have an odd situation some times when turning on the vbar the lights on the vbar and spectrum Satellite flash very rapidly -not the typical bind flash abotu 4 times faster.

when moving the heli or lightly tapping the vbar the vbar initializes and lights go solid. i have heard of "waking up the vbar by tapping" is this what i am experiencing? if so whats the deal?

I would take a guess it is not getting any signal from the receiver.

If you can confirm the receiver is good then look at the connecting lead.

If not the that then an internal fault inside the vbar itself. Now if tapping the unit makes it work it is a dry joint by a component leg not soldered or a break in a track on the pcb.

You might get lucky inspecting the board under a microscope or high magnification glass.
