You can download Phoenix 5.5 from RC-Thoughts website. I believe this 5.5 version still requires you to use the proprietary USB cable to use the Phoenix simulator. However, the same RC-Thoughts website also walks you through the process of upgrading to version 6 which is my understanding does not need any proprietary hardware to use the simulator.

not sure if pheonix is the way to go anymore. Just missing to many things to try and download another cersion. No disc, no cord to plug into the back of my DX6i . I used my Dx6i to fly with the pheonix. No dongle. So maybe I should just purchase another sim. From what i can see there only about 100.00.
What would you all recommend.
Thank you to all that responded to my eairly posts

I too overall prefer AccuRC over any other RC helicopter flight simulator at the moment, but I also complement with other simulators some of the features that AccuRC does not offer.
