Default Nano S2 pitch problem using dx6i

Dx6i and Nano S2

Pitch 0 25 50 75 100 in both idle 0 and 1...
Throttle 0 25 50 75 100 Idle 0
Throttle 80 80 80 80 80 Idle 1

For some reason when I hit idle 1 pitch increases by almost 25% positive.
Not sure what could cause this but I bind and bind over again.. Confirming the settings over and over again. Previous version Nano I had NO problems with. Anyone have any ideas what could cause sudden increase in positive pitch when making the switch to Idle up?

Also not seeing any negative pitch in normal mode even though its set 0 25 50 75 100.

Thanks...

There is no throttle curve in 3d mode. It's 100%
And in normal mode there is very little throttle and pitch. It barely hovers.

I guess the main problem is I always want to fly in idle 1. Then the pitch changes by at least 25%.. Therefore I hover at about 3/4 throttle in idle 1 and mid stick idle 0.

My problem with idle 0 is that If its really high up then you almost have to kill the motor completely to descend. Seems stupid that the Pitch and Throttle curve programming mean nothing in the radio.

I just lowered the swash plate last night, seems it may have done the trick!
Stability still seems to be all over the place in idle 1. I'll try the aluminum swash if it will make a difference.

Default modes and stick position along with "jump" in controls

hi fedex,

does your s2 have a "jump" in controls? i once had an issue with a jump in controls when i finally was successful at binding my mz-16 to the s2 in internal dsmx mode. you can tell by working the pitch in hold mode. if you see an isolated spot near center where the heli suddenly increases or decreases it's position by quite a bit compared to your stick movement, then your heli is not accepting your radio commands. please check all of your channels for smoothness and let me know as this is a problem i have been stuck on as well.

stunt 0 is 50% stick at hover
stunt 1 is 3/4 stick at hover

you can get rid of the 50% stick nonsense if you like by running all flat throttle curves. i know what it's like to have a hundred dollar paperweight.
it's not fun.

You need to carefully check what SAFE modes are programming on N (FM0) and FM1 (IdleUp 1).

Also make sure you have not wrongly activated rescue.

If you are in the two beginner modes (stability-Z, stability) or rescue, then the available pitch might act strange or deactivate negative pitch.
