Hooking up those links, the tail instantly became tight.
Allright, i'm going to ask some people i know having the same problem if they tested the tail this way to be smooth and loose. I allways check it this way. Since i mounted my tail servo between the sideplates, i disconnect the rod from servo and check with rod. Moves smooh as silk.

They may not notice with the rod. I didn't notice until i disconnected the rod and was doing the "drop" test where I would turn the heli on its side and the mechanism should fall under its own weight. With the rod it felt ok moving it.

How much experience do you have with any other servos?

Here is one:

Arguably one of the best micro tail servos on the market. I won't even waste time posting a link to a mini, most will outperform the 3060.

Not much, since I dont`t even try Servos with lower Specs. About 20 years of experience with Graupner servos, a very popular Brand in Germany. And some years with Hitec servos...
Kinda slow, cat beat the H3060. I would`t even try it. If You can find one to be faster at the same force, or more powerfull at the same speed, than i would try it.
Of course it`s easy to find a faster one at less torque. Or any with more torque but slower. That`s in the nature of the theme.

well ... I don't have MKS servos but I have KST micro servos in my oxy4max ... the H3050 in my 360cfx. You can look at it and see and touch and feel a pretty large quality difference between the two....

I don't think specs tell the whole tale...

Pretty much I use the H3050's until one gives me trouble then I replace the whole cyclic batch with something else. KST 215's on some and EMax ES08MDII/ES09MDII on others. I've not had any real trouble yet with the H3060 tail servo's.

Same here. As a fusion 270 owner, no trouble with h3060 tail servo in 1000+ flights.
It's not a 360 heli, but is quite hard on servos anyways. As for the cyclic servos, h3050 just cant handle a sneeze at them. They are junk quality and durability-wise. The do work fine tho - untill they stop working 😄
I can give a big shout out to emax es09md for cyclic servos. They dont look anything special (plastic housing), but they have steel gears and double bearinged axis. They showed to be real heavy tanks to me. Over 500 flights with 5-6 crashes since installed and theyre just like brand new.

Well, i will stay with the H3050/H3060 since i had no trouble with. I have two Blade 360cfx equipped with, and some Blade 230S. But i do not fly other than Scale style, and i dont crash. If i should happen to crash one of my scale builds, the servos will be the last thing on my mind.

They are a tad slower, but with twice the torque. From what I can tell you are mostly into scale flying and/or sport. Absolutely no reason for you to change. If you were one to start pushing your tail, then you would clearly see where the 3060 lacks. The precision differences alone you would see. There is a reason why this particular servo is arguably one of the best in the market. Post a poll on the main forum and ask to compare the two if you don't believe me.

The 3060 servo has worked great for my Oxy 2 setups. It was chosen due to its lightweight compared to other micro tail servos. I have nothing against it and it will likely work very well for the average person. If most of the guys reading this are Blade flyers and have not ventured into kits yet, once you get there let me know if you end up with the same 3050/3060 combos you are currently running. My guess is you will not.

Allright, i understand. Maybe i would not be satisfied with the Spektrum servos if i would push it harder.

I actually am building my first Kit. It is a Blade 550X, and i have choosen Spektrum Servos again. H6040 for Swash and H6080G for the tail, this time. I was told they are working pretty fine for 550 and 600 Size. Well, i just mounted the ESC yesterday and raised the Heli first time, so i can`t really tell - but so far, the Blade 550X is hovering stable and tail is just fine.

I use the Lynx Heli "Tuning" CNC machined main gear. It`s discontinued, but still available on eBay, even in the states.
In Germany, the stock main gear is available from many dealers.
And yes, i don`t crash. My 360s are scale builds, if i would crash them, the main gear would be the last thing on my mind.

I don`t know if there is a difference in the modells, but in Germany Blade 360 6S, 360 3s, 360 Trio, Fusion 360 and 270cfx are equipped with BLH 5337 wich is slant 135T main gear.
Blade 450, 450X and 300X are equipped with BLH 1651, wich is no slant gear.

BLH 1651 would not fit any Blade 360cfx i have ever seen here.

Then HH needs to fix their page that lists the gear. On the page:

"Compatible Products
Blade Helical Main Gear: B450, 330X, 360/270 CFX, Fusion 360/270 BLH5337 is compatible with BLH1900, BLH4000, BLH4050, BLH4380A, BLH4750, BLH4755, BLH4850, BLH5050, BLH5250, BLH5350, BLH5360, BLH5900, BLH5950"

I agree. All product pictures show a straight gear for 450x and 300x. All product pictures show a slant gear for 360cfx and 270cfx.
I own the 360cfx, it's slant. I don't own 450 or 300X...so i don't know for shure it's straight.

You're correct it's straight. I have a converted B450 and looked so they have it wrong like they often do on their web pages.
