Default Panic recovery programming

Hey guys,

I bought one of these and it flies great. All of the modes work however I cannot get the panic button to work, I have a DX8 G1 and I have everything exactly as the manual describes. What gives?

I've been fighting with this for a while with my DX8 (gen 1 Silver).

What switch activates the panic recovery on yours then? The Gear switch on the back left of the transmitter?

Im curious what you "SW Select" screen looks like for that model.

Thanks for the help!

I got it figured out, however my setup appears to be a bit different.

I had the switch assignments incorrect for one. Your settings for the mix did not work for me, which is really suprising, but it helped me figure out my issue!

I setup AUX3 (The knob) to control gear and went flying, noting where the position was in the MIX menu, then translated those to the AUXs = Trainer/Bind

My mix is AUX2 > GEAR
RATE = 100%
50%
Offset = 100%

Bailout works great now with the BIND button on the top.

Hmm, do you really need a rescue switch on a 32g micro CP heli?
Just hit the hold switch above ground as fast as possible and make sure that the main motor stops spinning.

If you fly it on a green field with higher grass (now in summer) which should tremendously save your money in spare parts.

For some unknown reason the plastic parts broke too easily on my Ex-NanoCPX (canopy pins on the frame, landing gear) or spindle was bent.

The XK plastic looks to be better on my K110.

Over Grass, no. But over the concrete street in front of my house? Oh yea.

Make sure that you do not fall out of a curve and accidently ram the Nano into the roof (e.g. of your neighbour).

Several lipos all was fine with the NanoCPX...and suddenly this happens that you lose a bit the control.
Some slight wind can change things quickly.

Do you also fly inverted or backwards / backwards inverted with your Nano?
Can't remember if I did with it the two backwards figures...but flipping and inverted round flight + funnels definitely worked fine (on the Ncpx).

Have fun!
