Default Vbar Tail setup issue

Hello,

I am having a problem getting my tail servo to work with my Silverline. Its on 5.3 Pro and the tail servo does not respond to stick movements. I setup the receiver as UDI with default channel mapping. I can see the Vbar seeing inputs from my rudder stick on my transmitter. It is setup for channel 3 which is labeled Tail on the VBar. The tail servo does work as I tested it in another heli. The tail servo centers when I plug it into the VBar. It will also move when I physically move the tail, so it corrects the yaw. But it will not move when I give it a rudder stick movement. This is only my second Vbar so I'm still new to it. I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

Check for correct servo type selection. ie The center pulse and update frequency.

How did you do the tail gain adjustment? Via TX or via software? If too ittle gain it will not move with inputs, so check tail gain should be about 70

I did not adjust the tail gain anywhere. I did change the CW and CCW settings in the Tail section and the tail servo now moves in one direction but not the other. The gyro does correct in both directions when I move the tail of the heli by hand.

Is tail gain under some Advanced settings somewhere?

From the link above
Tail
The last step in the programming assistant is for the tail settings. Please first choose the tail servo used in your model, then connect the tail servo to the VBar by plugging the servo into the slot in the VBar labeled “Tail Servo”, to avoid servo damage. Finally you should check if stick travel and tail rotor travel correspond properly. If they do not, it is necessary to reverse the function in the software. The servo travels are set separately for each direction. For top performance, the values should be approximately equal for both directions. If that‘s not possible, move the servo arm by one notch around the center postion and try again. Programming is now finished. Go back to the main page by

Have you set the tail travel limits? Tail gain is on the main page of the PC software, can be done in two ways, setting it via software or via TX you need to select which you prefer.

Thank you so much. It was the tail gain on the main screen. It was set all the way down, so the tail just didn't work.
