Default Keep stripping 136 t main gear

Hello everyone. Maybe someone else out there has had this same issue, If so I知 all ears. I知 running a kontronik pyro 750-56 paired with a kosmik 200, motor pinion is 16t. My issue is that I致e now stripped out two main gears simply by head speed increases and harder flying. I feel I致e done a good job of making sure the gear mesh is set right( high and low side ), but with this motor i keep stripping. My question is, with the more powerful motor should I have a snug mesh all around or should I still leave a little play on the low side. I知 just tired of buying these things🥵 . Thx

According to Mr. Mels Headspeed calculator a 16t pinion has a head speed of 2593rp at 80% throttle on a Kosmik. Surprising that the ESC does not shut down and impressive that the power system can strip mod1 gears. Use a 13t pinion.

This is happening at a max output of 55 percent, so not killer high hs . nowhere near 2500 (more like 1650). It is a power house for sure. Thx again mate!

Where did you find a 16t pinion for the LOGO 700 25ー 136t gear?

The only options available at this time are 13 and 14t.

It's from the 700 Xtreme pinion section.

maybe that's why you keep stripping the main gears.

Yeaaah that one will only work with the 175t XXtreme gear, different slant angle. That's the reason you keep stripping gears, you're trying to mesh them with an incompatible pinion.

By the way, I did order one of the 175 t gears thinking it would fit ( matter of fact I still have it ). Boy was I wrong! The thing is huge!!! It's like the a small car tire rim. So to whom it may concern, this won't fit the Logo 700.

just asking.. what made you think the 16t fit the logo 700? and you didn't notice the mesh problem? also, the 16t would put the gearing all out of whack, right?
really im just asking..

The gear mesh wasn't weird at all. After setting the high and low points all seemed fine. The teeth on pinion and gear seemed to mesh fine, but as stated in previous post the angle is not exactly the same . When I bought the pinion my criteria was 8mm, mod 1 and the teeth count, I was unaware of the angle. I thought once it's herringbone all should be fine. Now I know
