Default How many hours do you have?

I was just sitting down to Sim this morning and noticed that I have 180 hours of time on AccuRC since I purchased it Jan 1st of 2019.

That works out to 25-30 min/day.

I’m sure that a handful of hours were setting up the software and playing with model options. But there’s a fair amount of Sim time there.

Over the last year; I progressed from tail in hovering IRL with weak side in hovering to having all my upright orientations down pat in the Sim but still edgy IRL. I can fly figure 8s, stall turns and recover from almost any orientation as long as I have some height. Progress was slow for me, I really struggled with nose in, but there was a point that I had an epiphany and almost overnight it just happened...

I’m wondering how much everyone else is Simming?

A special thank you to the AccuRC team for saving me thousands of dollars in crash costs!

135 hours since March 3rd 2019. I try to do 30 minutes per day ; currently: 10 minutes slow piro hover. 10 minutes backwards and forwards upright flight. 10 minutes inverted practice (flip and then hover for a couple minutes) in all orientations.

Where do you see the numbers of hours? I looked in the stats and could only see number of crashes (which I don't intend to reveal here...;-) )

The hours can be seen on Steam not on AccuRC itself.

Mine says 122 hours. I feel that's a bit low, I don't know if Steam tracks it from the computer or online. Because I changed my computer so I don't know if those are hours just on my new computer or total hours since I installed it on Steam.

I try to sim at least each Saturday morning and whenever I can squeeze in time. During cold weather season this part of the country it's mostly all I have aside from physical maintenance of my models so I hit it pretty hard.

But if that number is accurate then it means I have to hit it harder! I do have to say I sometimes fire up neXt or lately Heli-X although AccuRC has become my main sim.

Ah! OK, thanks. In my case a rather pathetic 63 hours so far. Must put in some more hours before the weather gets better and I get a chance to fly for real.

141 HOURS. However, I've used other simulators. Maybe a total of 170 hours.

It tracks the hours the game was running. So if you leave your sim open while doing something else, your hours will be inaccurate

I'm at 189 hours

Oh that would be nice, but only like 1/10 of that is actual flying. Probably even less. The rest is development time, mostly spent in workbench, setting up models.

last holiday season break , iirc I hit approx 24 hours to 30 hours over a 2 week holiday period. while I progressed alot, it was a bit too much to maintain for a longer period for me.

I have a 112 hours on AccuRC , last 14 days. 7 hours ( which is a sim average I suppose can maintain without much 'effort' )

Since being published on Steam, 404 hours. No idea how much of that is alt-tabbed idling though.

I also tend to swap between multiple sims often. AccuRC being 2nd favorable.

FYI,
You can start steam in offline mode and it won't track hours.
