I dont expect a new 700, nothing wrong with the current model. They just finished the 800 which is based on the 700

Me either. 4 years is not a long life for a model, especially a Mikado one.

You don't have long to wait to find out. If it's not at Rotor Live, it's not coming for at least another year.

actually when I read the manual for the new logo 800 we can see that it is the same construction as the 700 logo, bad news for having a new 700 .
That is true ,but may be a good surprise in march......

Just buy the current logo 700. I had one of the first ones and sold it rarther quickly, not very impressed but after going around the world owning every 700 size heli I BOUGHT ANOTHER LOGO 700 INSTALLED A SCORPION 4530 MOTOR AND i COULDNT BE HAPPIER. FREAKING LOVE IT NOW. Its not the lightest but its big and it flys so freaking good its incredible. It also has spme serious collective power.

One thing that makes mikado models unique is their plastic frames. A little bird once told me that the molds for the 600 cost in excess of USD$10k per side.

You don’t have to be a business major to figure out they need to sell a LOT of kits to recoup the manufacturing costs of just two frame halves—let alone the rest of the injection molds for the other unique-to-Mikado parts.

So, the L7 has 4 frame parts. I don’t think the current L7 is going anywhere soon.

I've built & flown many 700s, the newest ones from each current brand at least and boi I have 0 doubts about the L700 being the best one in terms of flying characteristics. Its just vastly different dynamically in a great way of course.

Hi,
Just asking. When you said the new 800 has the same construction as the 700 logo, do you mean both are sharing the same plastic frame while the new logo 800 only has a longer boom? Iím just weighing whether i should buy the extreme 800( i know is discontinued ) or the plastic frame logo 700. Please advise.
Thanks
