I have most of the spares needed, and the others are on the way. Damage is about $165 plus blades. It wasn’t pilot error, I missed the tail pulley spacer when I took it apart that day. Crash was spectacular, but the Oxy 5 is tough.
Edit: main frames weren’t damaged just the right front lower frame. 7 bucks.

I had finished my 12s Vcontrol conversion on the Meg, but had a clicking noise in the tail so I took it apart. Forgot to put in a Large tail pulley spacer when I reassembled it. Took off on maiden all was good for thirty seconds till I went positive collective to do some pitch pumps. Tail let loose and started piroing full tilt. Tried to correct but couldn’t, so I hit TH and set her down still spinning like a top... it was spectacular lol. But at the same time glad I put it in safely

Finishing up getting my workstation back together after little lipo mishap a few weeks ago. Taking over my cat's place and relocating their stuff.

Then it grows into the house and causes marital issues. Worth it

Nice jr. This is how my area looks, nice, clean and tidy, until about 5 minutes after I start on a new build than turns to ground zero and never to return to its former neat and tidy glory lol.

These are negotiated spaces when you buy home This is a 14.5X23 space. Way more than I need but more open than the space I was in.

Lol. My gf used to complain about how much time I spend with my helis. Then I started buddyboxing with her on my 230s. She was instantly hooked. Then I bought her a Nano S2 and she definitely got bit by the heli bug. Within a week, she was already talking about wanting a kit to build by herself, that she totally understands my hobby now, and she wants to learn all the things. Almost every weather permitting Sunday is now date-day; us with our helicopters. The helis are our dates haha. Hopefully she doesn't find out that I'm going to buy her a 470LP for her B-Day in June. Just waiting for the proper sale to get a good deal.

Instead of flying this weekend Iím putting together a new workbench.

My father in law bought me a set of Kreg legs and rails a few days ago. After going to Loweís at getting cheap $16.00 ply OSB subfloor, and some porcelain tile, I countersunk some bolts and put on the top surface. Itís not that fancy and thereís still work to do like clearing out the bottom area so I can install a lower surface, but itís waaaaay better than my previous table, which was just stacks of cinder blocks that support two concrete 16x16 slabs.

My LiPos are stored in the two cinder blocks with lids you see. They also double as a physical barrier between my charging area and nearby flammables.

Trying to measure the voltage of one of my LiPo cells using an oscilloscope. Ugh. So damn confusing.
