That seems like overkill to me...
But what are you confused about?

Edit: and for heaven’s sake be careful not to short the battery!

Yeah overkill.

Iíve got 2 chargers and 3 balance ports but they all read slightly different voltage values, differing by 8 mV at most I think. I was hoping this o-scope I had lying around would be more accurate and tell me which of my ports is more correct.

The issue is that Iím too lazy to figure out how to get the real time voltage reading with this thing. Iím sure itís simple to figure out I just need to spend the time reading the manual.

I just put my Fluke DVM on the banana jacks off the charger. I average what the charger and DVM read. Close enough for me.

Or you can split the balance plug to a breadboard and watch each cell.

It was warm today, but awfully windy so I decided to get this Tekonsha P3 installed in my new-to-me truck. Ready for fun-fly season!

What part? Learning the o'scope? What scale are you on?

Finished wiring my 350 watt x 24v power supply. Be enough power for now...

I also pretty much finished the air frame for my Gaui X5v2 belt. I ended up tearing it partially down yesterday because I dropped a spacer into the frame and couldn’t find it. I gave up after a complete inspection with a flashlight. But it was eating at me. The spacer showed up in the carpet today while working on my power supply. -relived!

The kit has many holes in how to put stuff together, like how far to space out the pinion. 1.5mm did the trick Spent a fair amount of time setting the main gear pinion mesh. It really makes me appreciate how other manufacturers do it...Click image for larger version

If you didnít rekit after that then I call it a good save. Good job 👍

lol, yes scale. If you are reading volts, you set the scale that says what each gratical is worth. So if it is on 1v and the line goes positive 3 graticals, that would be 3v. The center line is zero, anything above it would be +volts, below -volts.

No YT videos for that model to show basic operation?

I get to rebuild my Tarot 450 DFC that I just rebuilt. A bad servo drove it into ground this morning.

Tip - after a servo glitches a few times, DO NOT keep flying to try and figure it out.

That, and "If you hear a weird sound, you should probably land" have saved me a fair bit of money

Worked on my SAB Urukay. Added a Spartan VX1e FBL to it and a DMSS receiver. Still need to solder connectors to the Kosmik to finish this build.

Fine tuning a 450 Pro. Not a big 3GX fan but it flies well. Not good with buttons and flashing LEDs and stick inputs.

Bought a like-new Blade 450X, cleaned it up and maidened today. Still tweaking the BeastX and gain and curves.

Too windy today to do that well.

Might be for sale for if there's interest. These backward swashes always confound me.

Refurb/ rebuilding an OS37, just waiting on screws and a piston ring. It was quite rusty and the casing was mottled but it’s cleaned up quite nicely. Looking forward to tuning this in once it’s ready. I find it very therapeutic refurbing engines.

I have a bunch of Forza 450 stock, but have recently sold all of my flyable ones. Working new parts I have into a couple more airframes to get ready for sale. Other than that, trying not to go stir crazy

Been through a bit of a hiatus over the winter, getting ready for flying again. Starting to focus on smaller models until the FAA gets its head out of its ass (hopefully)

Trying to do as much as I can with no money. We have a stocked pantry though, and wont lose the roof over our heads anytime soon, so there's that

Working on installing the 23T pinion and 21T speed up tail gear in my new Protos 380. Got home from work but it's already getting dark so I can't fly it tonight. Hope there's a gap in the rain tomorrow so I can get some more flights on it.
