Just put my order through for an all new setup after selling all my gear a few years ago, should be here next week. Also been working on my drone and have it back in the air after been in storage for a year.

My canopy glasses for the crashed Hughes 500E 700 size arrived. Glueing them into the canopy that I rebuilt. I got the heli very cheap because of the condition but it will be a very nice one soon I hope.

Hmm. Dynam E-Razor 450 rebuild and trim, boom slips, and main gear seems to chew up pinions.

Trex 450 Pro FB next on the list, waiting on servos.

I have been thinking for a while on a way to install mini servos on my two G420. Well today an idea came to me and I started doing some modification work to the mounts for the swash servos..

Installed an Ultraguard I had laying around on my Oxy 5. Waited around 6 weeks for a new battery. Glad they are back in stock as they seemed in limbo for a long long time.

I’m putting new servos in my Fireball. I’m hoping they will fix the issues I’ve been having. (Two nasty explosions, where it looks like the mains hit the boom)

The elevator servo started to go into a continuous rotation after a flight. But then would be OK. Now the old servo will just spin after preflight servo checks. Servos are less than 50 flights old The right servo also started not booting about half the time. I think it’s a bad lot...

Woke up today and felt the need to polish my shaft.

It was going pretty well but I realized that laying down on the side would make it easier.

Had to use 2 hands. One to polish and the other to keep things steady.

As things got faster and faster, they also got increasingly hotter.

I was working on the tip more than the shaft because that was the thickest part. The fit was too tight so I had to make it thinner.

Only took 5 minutes for me to finish.

And then I could finally get the swashplate to fit on the main shaft.

Since my current flying space is my front and back yard I pruned all low hanging branches. Now I have decent head room to rip around. Wish my neighbor would do his too

Finally I got to fly yesterday but my 420 head was all messed up. It had way more positive than negative collective. So today I fixed that.

Submitted a warranty replacement to Motion RC for a faulty K110 servo. On my brand new K110 the right aileron servo was bouncing all over the place. It made hovering look like I was angry at my cyclic stick.

Replacement approved! +1 to Motion RC
